Petaline (“the App”) is developed by Hamish Witcomb. Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the App.

Petaline does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information. This includes, but is not limited to, names, email addresses, habit data, mood entries, reflections, or identifiers.
3. Local Data Storage
All content you create within Petaline is stored locally on your device. Petaline does not use external servers, cloud services, or databases to store user data.
4. Widget Extensions
Petaline includes optional home screen widgets that display information from the App. Widgets access the same locally stored data as the App and do not collect, transmit, or share any additional information.
Widget data is not used for tracking, analytics, or advertising purposes.
5. Analytics and Tracking
Petaline does not use analytics tools, tracking technologies, or third-party SDKs that collect usage or behavioural data.
The App does not track users across apps or websites owned by other companies.
6. Third-Party Services
Petaline does not integrate with third-party services that collect or process user data. All functionality is provided entirely within the App and its widgets.
7. Data Security
Data stored within the App is protected by iOS system-level security, sandboxing, and app isolation. As no data leaves your device, the risk of external access is minimised.
8. User Control
You retain full control over your data. All locally stored data can be permanently removed at any time by deleting the App from your device.
9. Children’s Privacy
Petaline is not intended for children under the age of 13. No personal data is knowingly collected from children.
10. Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
